The Green River Skatepark was a collaboration with the Epicenter in Green River, Utah to provide a skatepark for the community. The city graciously supplied an existing concrete slab towards this effort. The concept behind the design is to use that existing slab as the flat of the park and to insert the skate elements into cutouts of the slab. This construction concept saves the city 40 percent on time, materials, and money. This site is adjacent to a city playground and the site of the new community center designed by Marlon Blackwell. It is also across the street from the Epicenter office/visitor center and has access to both Broadway and Main Street. Integrated into the design of the skatepark is a stage, amphitheatre, and basketball court. The Epicenter is now in the process of fundraising for the construction of the park. This was designed in collaboration with Jack Forinash and Christian Ayala.
